Time for an Update! On Saturday August 23rd 9 a.m. we will be packing container #57 at our Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital Laundry Warehouse. It will contain the Mobile Breast Screening Clinic our volunteers built 2 winters ago. Shalom Clinic intends to operate an outreach into Tuxecuangos with this mobile clinic. As well we will be shipping an ultrasound machine specifically for showing pregnant mothers their unborn babies development. The wife of a former Thunder Bay obstetrician just donated this to us. There will…

MEMO 2012 in Review

MEMO has always considered the advice “If the horse is dead, dismount” worth considering. So it is “Horse checking” time. MEMO’s core business is recycling used but still useful Canadian medical equipment and supplies to Cuba to demonstrate God’s love. This year we shipped 4 containers(September,October and November) including 85 beds and mattresses, 200 wheelchairs of various types,100 computers and a brand new giant sized freezer among many other things.
